Much of my work is informed by my own extensive healing journey that began in 2017. I was going through an incredibly challenging period in my life, and this suffering brought to the surface childhood trauma memories that I’d completely repressed. It also instigated a spiritual unfolding that was both terrifying and beautiful.
In my past life, I worked as a massage therapist, and I began studying biodynamic craniosacral therapy (CST) in 2017. I received my CST certification in 2019. This, along with several shamanic healing classes, greatly informed the way I view the world. I think I’d always had subconscious animistic tendencies, and both of these modalities really opened me up to the reality that all beings have their own sovereign lives that are equally as important as any human life.
I started doing ancestral healing (as a client) in 2019, and this changed my life in dramatic ways. I was able to finally make peace with some of my ancestors who’d been abusive while they were alive (a couple of them are even guides I now work with on a regular basis), and I started to become aware of and receive the beautiful energy and gifts of my lineages.
Perhaps most importantly, I also began to feel a profound sense of connection to my ancestors, and a sense of belonging and family that I’d never before experienced. In addition to being surrounded by my spirit and nature friends that I met through the shamanic work, I now knew these amazing guides that were literally in my blood and bones.
This work was so utterly life altering that I decided to study to become an ancestral healing practitioner in 2022-2023. I’m now honored to be able to offer things I’ve learned along the way.
Each session is a collaborative effort between myself and my guides, along with you and your guides. I work within a trauma-informed framework and believe in full spiritual sovereignty. In other words, you get to work at a pace that feels good to you, and you have the right to say no to or modify the work at any time, so that it unfolds in a nourishing way.
In my experience, spiritual healing is easiest to integrate when it’s gentle for our bodies, minds, and nervous systems. All aspects of us need to be on board in order for true healing to happen. During sessions, you are invited to share if any part of the process could feel better in any way.
Finally, I’m queer and neurodivergent, have been an active participant in anti-racist work for the last several years, and strive to create a safe space for all bodies. Most of my ancestors are from France, Germany, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Scandinavia, and I also have Indigenous ancestors. I live on the unceded lands of the Kalapuya, Chelamela, and Winefelly, also known as Eugene, Oregon.
